Cassandra Wyatt Brings Tax and Non-Profit Expertise

Cassandra joins the Ledbetter Law firm with a strong focus on meaningful, lasting relationships and top quality work on a wide range of clients' needs, including tax, regulatory compliance, and non-profit law.


Cassandra Wyatt has worked as a tax consultant in Ernst & Young’s Business Tax Advisory group after graduating from ASU Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 2015. While at EY, Cassandra’s focus was tax consulting, compliance, and planning related to obtaining and maintaining tax-exempt status. Her experience consists of forming obtaining tax-exempt status, transactions, unrelated business income taxation, IRS audit defense strategies, tax provision reviews, and federal, state, and international tax matters for a wide variety of tax-exempt organizations. In addition to her work at EY, Cassandra assisted Clarke Law Firm, PLC with research and drafting in a variety of practice areas, including family law, probate, estate planning, and business law.



Cassandra is passionate about being active in her profession and community. She served in a number of roles at EY, including drafting tax alerts for the Exempt Organizations practice, Vice Chair of the Community Engagement Committee, the Professional Women’s Network committee, EY recruiting, Holiday Committee, and Fitness Committee. Additionally, she has volunteered for a variety of organizations here in Arizona and in her home state of New York. Since joining the Cottonwood community she has become a board member of Bookmarks – Friends of the Cottonwood Library. She is excited to continue that involvement as chair of the board and get more involved in the local community.


Outside of the office, Cassandra enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new places. She loves to learn and is always looking for a new challenge.
